Ciena India is hiring freshers as Software Engineer. Candidates from the multiple batches are eligible for this role. The detailed eligibility and application process are given below.

Job Description:

Design, develop, and support low-level software to control intelligent devices in a Ciena product.

The candidate will also develop software subsystems for Inter-Process communication, Synchronized system startup, and Information Model persistence.

Understand hardware functionality and software drivers for monitor and control.

Understand multi-processor high reliable software system architectures.

Responsibility for embedded software including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.

Attend meetings, report progress, and interact closely with team members and other teams as required.

Responsibilities:

Strong knowledge of C, operating system concepts

Knowledge of embedded real-time software development (VXWORKS/LINUX)

Strong software coding, testing, and documentation skills.

Ability to document progress and results.

Independent self-starter

Strong commitment to product excellence

Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent communications skills

Masters/Bachelors in CS

Technical experience with around 0-2 years in software development.
